Take A Closer Look At Last Year's Competition!

CATEGORIES 2019

Last year we offered young entrepreneurs the chance to present their innovative products and prototypes in the emerging categories Digital Learning & EdTech, Digital Mobility and Digital Supply Chain.

Digital Learning

DIGITAL LEARNING

& EDTECH

From educational videos, learning apps and serious games to coding lessons and virtual and augmented reality: New technologies have already had a huge impact on learning. They enable time- and location-independent learning, facilitate individual and networked learning, and improve quality in the educational system as a whole. Not only do they shape how and what we teach and learn, they also make education more accessible for everyone, regardless of age and background. New technologies are changing our schools, universities and vocational colleges, and increasing the possibilities for informal learning and on-the-job training in workplaces. As current innovations such as artificial intelligence, robotics and blockchain are dramatically transforming many facets of our lives today, it is exciting to imagine the new opportunities such technologies will have on the world of learning in the future.

Digital Mobility

DIGITAL MOBILITY

Digital mobility is not only about creating a personalized digital passenger experience with location-based services, digital self-services as ticketing, self-check-in, personalized travel information, indoor-navigation and onboard entertainment. It is also about digital innovations optimizing the operation of public transport, e.g. improving maintenance of the fleet by predictive maintenance, optimizing the passenger flow in stations, smart luggage management or providing the best suitable multimodal connection.

Digital mobility makes travel more comfortable, more sustainable and more customer-friendly whilst reducing cost of ownership for the operator of public transportation systems.

Digital Supply Chain

DIGITAL SUPPLY CHAIN

Companies leading the way in the digital economy need to offer highly personalized products and services. Innovation in Digital Supply Chain changes fundamentally the way products and services are delivered and tailored to unique customer requirements. Keeping up with the digital economy therefore means reimagining business processes across the whole Supply Chain, Manufacturing and Asset Management. Innovative solutions in these fields help customers to establish Intelligent Enterprises.
