Applications for Innovators‘ Pitch 2019 are open!

The waiting has finally come to an end - the Innovators' Pitch is going into the next round and you can still apply for it until March 3rd! This year we are looking for the most innovative ideas in the categories Digital Learning & EdTech, Digital Mobility and Digital Supply Chain. The Innovators' Pitch will take place at this year's hub.berlin on April 10th. The nine finalists will have the opportunity to present their ideas, prototypes and products to a broad specialist audience and a jury of experts. The winners will receive a total of 15,000 euros in prize money, a free Get Started membership and the chance to exclusively pitch their ideas to selected investors. We are looking forward to having exciting partners with us again this year. In the last two weeks we presented to you what our last year’s winner of the Innovators' Pitch categories Digital Health and Travel & Tourism, the startups Boca Health and Twyla, have been up to since the competition at hub.berlin in November 2017. Blik is another startup that participated in and won the Innovators’ Pitch – in the category IoT. Blik is a startup from Munich that focuses on real-time monitoring of goods and processes. The live data optimizes processes and shortens intralogistic routes and thereby helps to cut costs. The combined software and hardware solution provides intelligent sensor data and thus enables transparent logistics for industry 4.0. Twyla is a startup from Berlin that wants to improve digital customer experience through chat bots. Their solution can for example be integrated into popular airline enterprise systems to enable data-driven customer interaction. Thereby the cost of providing customer service online can be reduced and businesses can offer non-stop support in a more efficient way. Three questions to: Boca Health – Innovators Pitch Winner 2017

Already a few months have passed since the Innovators Pitch 2017, the competition at hub.berlin for European early stage startups. Organised by Get Started, the startup initiative of Bitkom, nine finalists were chosen to present their digital solutions in three different areas: Digital Health, IoT and Travel & Tourism. Apart from prize money of 5,000 euros each, the winners also received access to our corporate partners and participating investors as well as free Get Started membership in Bitkom. The startup Boca Health from Milan was the 2017’s winner of the Innovators Pitch category digital health. The founders of Boca Health developed a non-invasive solution to measure and monitor body water, which helps to prevent heart and kidney diseases. In the end, Boca Health convinced not only the jury but also the audience of hub.berlin with their particularly innovative solutions. Blik, Boca Health and Twyla are winners of the Innovator‘ Pitch 2017

  The three start-ups Blik, Boca and Twyla are the winners of the Innovator' Pitch 2017, the competition for European early stage start-ups organised by Get Started, the start-up initiative of Bitkom, for the dozenth time. The most innovative ideas and technologies in the categories Digital Health, IoT and Travel & Tourism were sought out this year. The nine finalists presented their start-up at the hub.berlin, Bitkom's interactive business festival. The finalists of the Innovator' Pitch impressively demonstrated which business models emerge on the Internet of Things, how digitisation is changing the topics of health and travel & tourism and what new opportunities are opening up for companies as a result. “They impressed not only the jury, but also the audience of hub.berlin", said Christian Rietz, manager of start-ups at the Bitkom. “In the end, Blik, Boca Health and Twyla have convinced the jury with particularly innovative solutions.” The start-up Boca Health
